La Perte des Sens - by Ivan Illich[Reading report] by Pablo Nomanza

The author was part of the "Alternative Management" third year program in HEC Paris in 2006/2007.

This reading note is an attempt to identify some of the ideas developed in the book -– while trying to depict how coherent and achieved Illich's progression is. Comments emphasise both the content of the book, that is to say Illich's radical criticism of the industrial era and the alternative he sets, and on the ways he puts these ideas forward with an original intellectual approach so it becomes possible to imagine a different world.
