2012-03-13

Marine Bikard was part of the “Alternative Management” third year program in HEC in 2010. Having a passion for social sciences, she would like to use their methods and concepts to improve the action of companies.

Through the time of transition, Russian experience is an exceptional laboratory to study the rise of capitalism and its institutionalization. Based on a field study of the first small entrepreneurs, this essay offers a new approach of different ideas developed according to western realities. Russia demands to rethink shapes of capitalism and the place of informal relations in its setting.
