Although supporting social business has largely been recognized as one of the main challenges for development assistance actors, social business experience difficulties in developing themselves, suffering from missing help, infrastructure and useful financial support. In the current context of increasing complexity for the aid sector, it appears necessary to develop useful partnerships, between public donors and foundations, to respond perfectly to social business needs in Southern countries. In particular, public donors have the main assets to define these partnerships and to set up new development tools in order to perfectly respond to social business needs and to have a strong private sector able to face social and environmental issues
