Getting out of the “Deadly management” - Christian Oyarbide[Proceedings] by Christian Oyarbide

2012-04-19

Christian Oyarbide graduated from HEC in 1977 and has worked since then in banks and insurance companies. In 2007, he became general manager of the mutual insurance company La France Mutualiste. He is also an author of several books upon management, and works at the head of Editea, a management centered publishing house.

The multiple activities of Christian Oyarbide crystallize around the thought on management and are as many prisms allowing to tackle managerial issues under different angles. First in professional life, since after leading a private profit insurance company, Christian Oyarbide took the head of a mutual insurance company (La France Mutualiste); then as a writer (Mon boss, des trucs et ses tics - 2007, Mortel Management – 2009, Mortel Management 2 : la valse des souris – 2011) and blogger («Mortel management »). Both his experience of management and his amazing freedom of speech and expression explain his public success. Finally, Christian Oyarbide presides Editea, a publishing house which helps projects « offering a different vision on company and people management » to emerge.
