Meeting with Anne Charpy - Respective contributions of public and private initiatives to urban areas[Proceedings] by Anne Charpy

2011-10-27

Anne Charpy graduated from the ESCP in 1990. She also holds a Master's degree in Urbanism, from Sciences-Po Paris. As an expert on urban policies, she created the association Voisin Malin in 2010, so as to contribute to a better access to public services in deprived neighborhoods.

Anne Charpy, a professional in urban policies, has come and told about her career and her new social entrepreneurship project, “Voisin Malin” (Smart Neighbour). Her ambition is to mobilize the skills of inhabitants of socially deprived urban areas in order to enhance access to public utilities and to social rights in these areas. She does so by offering the services of “neighbours” she recruits to local public utility companies and institutions.
