Wikipédia is one of those huge Web-based successes of the 2000 based on a collective organization and production of content. Unlike many Web success stories, Wikipédia is built on a foundation model. This double characteristic, a collective construction of a gigantic tool and a non-profit model, has made the success of this venture.
